Assistant US Attorney Bruce M. Ferg feels putting a ten year old kid is the "best thing that could have happened to the kid."
A ten year old boy is prosecuted in federal court and is forced to register as a sex offender, and the man responsible for prosecuting him says this:
"My opinion is this is the best thing that could've happened to the kid..."It is not vague to say, 'If you do this kind of activity, we don't care what age you are, you are liable for prosecution.' Wrap your mind around that for a minute. I would just love to ask this smug son of a bitch how putting a child on the sex offender registry is the "beat thing that could've happened" to this kid.
