Bigoted Georgia State Senator Greg Kirk makes it obvious the intent of GA's GPS monitoring law is punitive

Earlier this year, the GA Supreme Court declared lifetime GPS for people not on paper was unconstitutional. Now the Georgia legislature is back in session, deciding how they can try to circumvent this ruling. REPUBLICAN State Senator Greg Kirk is making his intentions clear. Greg Kirk is already a controversial figure for being discriminatory policies against the LGBTQ community, so his quotes below aren't shocking to anyone who knows this clown.

Sen. Greg Kirk, R-Americus, sponsored a Senate resolution last session to convene a study committee to examine how Georgia laws could satisfy the court ruling but also keep communities safe from dangerous sexual predators who are likely to reoffend.

“I want to send a message that if you’re a sexual predator Georgia is not the place you want to be. You don’t want to live here, you don’t want to come here, you certainly don’t want get caught here, we don’t want you in our state and messing with our children,” Kirk said during the committee meeting. “Children are vulnerable and we need to do everything we can to protect them at all times and all costs. There’s certain lines in life that when you cross, you don’t get a redo, there’s certain things you just don’t get a redo on and that’s one of them in my opinion.”

“I don’t know what the answer is,” state Sen. Greg Kirk, an Americus Republican who sponsored the study committee. “But at the end of the day, if you’re a sexually dangerous predator, I want you followed for life in the state of Georgia.”

British group called Yorkshire Child Protectors, which entraps suspected pedophiles online by pretending to be underage and arranging real-life meetups with police present, has apologized for falsely accusing a gay couple of soliciting an underage girl for sex.

The BBC reports that Ben and Jordan, whose last names have not been released at their request, were confronted outside of Jordan's sister's home in Hull by a mob of 15 YCP members and supporters. The group typically livestreams its confrontations on Facebook, and this occasion was no different as thousands of people were watching online.

When the couple pulled up, a YCP car blocked them in and people began surrounding their vehicle. Ben and Jordan were pulled from their car and forced down to the end of the road, where the mob screamed, "We know what you've done," and called police.

Both Ben and Jordan had their phones confiscated and were jailed for 22 hours while police investigated the accusations. Meanwhile YCP's online decoy, who pretended to be a young woman, was still receiving messages from the suspect the group had incorrectly identified.

Only Jordan's mother was told the pair had been arrested.

According to the BBC, the group posted an apology to Ben and Jordan after they were released reading, "We at YCP take responsibility for our part played in these innocent men being arrested but we won't be taking all the blame," claiming that it had received false information from another vigilante organization.

The Yorkshire Child Protectors Facebook page appears to have been deleted.

LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WTHR) – Police are concerned about an Indiana man who they say is taking justice into his own hands.

He's running a sting on social media, trying to catch suspected child molesters all on his own. But police are warning him to shut it down.

As of Friday night, the account has been taken off social media.

The Instagram account, based in Logansport, said it was "cleaning Indiana up one child molester at a time." But police have told the social media user to stop, saying it's reckless and dangerous.

Scroll through the Instagram account and you'll see alleged vigilante justice carried out on video.

With nearly 47,000 followers in four days, it's certainly attracted a lot of attention.

The guy behind this account is being called a "hero" and a "king" "doing God's work" in comments about his content.

He's targeting alleged child predators in Indiana with a camera phone, on his own and police want it to stop. They are warning that it's not safe, it hinders legitimate investigations and no bad guys are actually taken off the streets.

"Obviously he puts himself in danger and puts other people in danger as well," said Dan Frye, Assistant Police Chief in Logansport. "The latest I've heard is that he's done some recruiting in other cities getting people to come along with him on his latest stings. He's not and those people aren't trained for this stuff. They don't know what we're looking for as far as evidence. We work in close connection with the prosecutors office to convict these people. They're doing none of this. We take crimes of child molestation seriously and want to investigate thoroughly and make sure they're prosecuted. Anything police-related you would not find on social media as far as video."

The vigilante posting on Instagram claims he's created an online profile of a teenage girl. Then he lures men who respond to that through texts, to meet up, usually in Logansport. Then he captures the confrontations on camera.

On Saturday, one of those confrontations was at a grocery store, images of which were caught on surveillance cameras.
